Bronwyn Long is a nurse by day and writer by night. Her pen name, Rohret Buchner, honors grandmothers whose courage and determination are the inspiration for intrepid heroines like Shara Kennington. Rohret writes sci-fi/fantasy novels. The Shalemar Trilogy is her first project.

Bronwyn also writes historical fiction. A draft of a novel set in the 1850s American West is under review by a publishing house.
